Personal Information: When you create an account, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, location, and profile photo.

Profile Data: Candidates provide information about their work experience, skills, education, certifications, availability, and salary expectations. Employers provide company information, job requirements, and hiring preferences.

Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with our Platform, including:

  • IP address and device information
  • Browser type and version
  • Pages visited and time spent on the Platform
  • Search queries and filters used
  • Job applications submitted and profiles viewed
  • Messages sent and received

Payment Information: For Professional plan subscribers, we collect billing information. Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe, and we do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

Communications: We collect the content of messages you send through our Platform, as well as any feedback, support requests, or other communications with HireSA.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

Matching and Facilitation: Our primary use of your data is to match employers with qualified candidates using our AI-powered algorithms. This includes displaying candidate profiles to employers and job postings to candidates based on skills, experience, and preferences.

Platform Operations: We use your information to:

  • Create and maintain your account
  • Process transactions and manage subscriptions
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
  • Send service-related notifications and updates
  • Enforce our Terms of Service and detect fraud or abuse

Platform Improvement: We analyze usage data to improve our Platform's features, functionality, and user experience. This includes training our AI matching algorithms and developing new tools and services.

With Other Users: As part of our core service, we share information between employers and candidates:

  • Candidate profiles are visible to employers searching for talent
  • Job postings are visible to candidates searching for opportunities
  • When a candidate applies to a job or an employer contacts a candidate, relevant information is shared to facilitate the hiring process

Service Providers: We share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our Platform, including:

  • Stripe for payment processing
  • Cloud hosting and data storage providers
  • Email and communication service providers
  • Analytics and performance monitoring tools

These service providers are contractually obligated to use your information only for the specific services they provide to us and to maintain the confidentiality and security of your data.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention or financial record-keeping.

Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and Platform improvement purposes.

9. Children's Privacy

HireSA is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@hiresa.com, and we will delete such information from our systems.
